A motorized unwinder with edge detection eliminates distortion during cutting by ensuring a constant and stable feed of the textile onto the cutting table. Summa’s conveyor system for the L series is ideal for continuous roll material production, automatically transporting cut pieces out of the machine. The metal slat construction of the conveyor belt provides vacuum suction from underneath. The vacuum holds the material, resulting in perfectly cut products and precise material feed through the work area.
The laser cutting machine is equipped with a top-quality sealed RF laser source. The laser system uses contactless cutting, meaning no resistance is applied to the material, and blades do not need to be replaced. The laser cutter allows users to handle delicate and easily deformed textiles with high precision.
For safety and environmental reasons, fumes are removed through the internal extraction system. Any dust generated during cutting is immediately captured by the extraction system, ensuring a clean working environment at all times.
