Roland DG Connect Designer is a brand-new cloud-based design tool launched in June 2025, allowing users to quickly and easily create print-ready designs. Fully integrated into the Roland DG Connect platform, this intuitive tool enables both beginners and experienced users to produce professional-looking artwork in no time.
Connect Designer was created with simplicity in mind. Thanks to an intuitive interface, a wide selection of templates, and a built-in graphics library, even users without a design background can create high-quality visuals. Images, shapes, patterns, and fonts are readily available and can be freely combined to achieve a polished, original result.
While you design, the system automatically applies the correct print settings in the background. There's no need to manually adjust RIP software. Once the design is complete, it can be sent directly to the printer via VersaWorks 7, making the transition from idea to print fast and seamless.
As part of the Roland DG Connect ecosystem, Connect Designer is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. Simply log in with a Roland DG Connect ID and start creating. Designs and print jobs are stored in the cloud, with features like automatic job saving, settings synchronization across multiple PCs, and real-time printer status updates.
You can also take advantage of:
Business Insights for data-driven performance monitoring
Device Dashboard to track printer usage and operational hours
Cloud-based VersaWorks settings backup
Cross-device settings synchronization
These tools help streamline your workflow and boost operational efficiency.
