Roland ASSY,CAP TOP SV2 CG2298 is an original maintenance component designed for the Roland TY-300 DTF printer. This cap top assembly seals the print heads when the printer is idle and plays a critical role during the automatic cleaning cycles. Together with the pump and wiper system, the cap top ensures proper ink circulation and maintenance of the print heads. It protects the heads against drying, air exposure, and ink contamination, helping maintain consistent print quality and extending print head lifespan. Worn or damaged cap tops may cause nozzle dropouts, inconsistent printing, or even print head failure. Roland therefore recommends regular inspection and replacement of the cap tops. The TY-300 printer requires two cap tops.
