Rowmark Slickers is a glossy, reverse-engraveable plastic sheet made from UV-stable, laminated acrylic with a high-gloss surface. Suitable for rotary and laser engraving, ideal for eye-catching signage, back-painting and back-lighting effects.

Engraving tips

Recommended settings

• Depth: Engrave to approx. 0.30 mm to remove the colour layer without damaging the top layer.

• Routing: Use sharp tools for clean edges and smooth engravings.

• Laser engraving: Always test on a sample to determine correct speed and power.

Back-painting & colour filling

• After engraving, the exposed areas can be back-painted or filled with acrylic paint or epoxy for added contrast.

• Back-lighting works especially well with transparent colour combinations.

Finishing

• Remove residue with a soft cloth and mild water (avoid citrus cleaners).

• Use compressed air to remove dust from engraved areas before painting or back-filling.

Practical tips

• Bending & forming: Material becomes formable at approx. 82 °C – heat carefully.
