MG2-640

Product description

The Roland MG2‑640 is a next‑generation industrial UV print‑and‑cut solution designed to help businesses confidently expand into higher‑value applications. Combining advanced UV capabilities, newly developed industrial piezo printheads and a fully automated workflow, the MG2 series delivers exceptional productivity, consistent output quality and remarkable versatility across daily production.

With up to five ink layers printed in a single pass, the MG2‑640 enables premium visual effects such as textured finishes, spot gloss, day‑and‑night graphics, reverse printing and transparent decals with white underlays. CMYK, white, gloss and optional red and orange inks work together to achieve an expanded colour gamut, precise brand colour reproduction and vivid, high‑impact results.

The wider printheads deliver up to twice the speed of previous models while maintaining sharp details, smooth gradients and stable colour performance. Automated media loading, one‑touch calibration, Direct Print, intelligent media handling and integrated Print & Cut reduce manual intervention and maximise uptime. A new automatic cloth wiper keeps printheads in optimal condition, reducing maintenance and ensuring reliable, consistent production.

High‑capacity 1,000 ml ink bags significantly lower running costs and support longer production runs with fewer interruptions. Together with VersaWorks 7, Roland DG Connect and compatibility with Roland DG, Summa and Graphtec cutters, the MG2 series provides a connected, streamlined workflow with greater insight, control and efficiency.

From premium labels, short‑run packaging prototypes and retail displays to interior décor, window graphics and personalised stickers, the MG2‑640 empowers businesses to expand their offering, stand out visually and increase the value of every job produced.
